Quebec City

We started off the day in Quebec City by fueling up on croissants and coffee at La Maison Smith. It was the perfect stop because we were just steps away from Petite Champlain, one of the more notable neighborhoods. The brick streets and quaint shops were charming all around.VIEW THE POST

Hello Fall + 12 Things

So while it hasn’t been feeling quite like fall during the day, I can definitely feel it in the air when the sun goes down at night. It’s been a bit more chilly than usual. Today marks the turn of the beginning of fall and I couldn’t be more thrilled! I am so ready to bring out the layers, cute boots and fall sweaters. And with every turn of the season, I would like to go completely candid and talk about the 12 things that are going on right now in my life.VIEW THE POST

Happy Halloween

Halloween has always been one of my favorite holidays because it’s the time I could dress up as a different person for the evening. I have always loved making my own costumes. However, this year I have been so busy with work that I did not have much time to make one. Instead of going out and buying something at the Halloween store, I figured I would get a bit creative with items I had in my closet.VIEW THE POST

Oregon Coast

Last month I spent a few days in Oregon at a rented house in Rockaway Beach. The neighborhood was a new development and there wasn’t a soul in sight. It was perfect, we had the whole beach to ourselves. In the garage of the house I found this big kite, and below you can find …

Light and Dark

If there’s one thing I love to do when it comes to style, it’s mixing soft, feminine dresses with darker, edgy pieces. I recently got this classic, leather jacket from Dezzal. I have been searching for a good leather jacket for quite some time. I had an older one that was on its way out. However, a leather jacket is a definite staple for your wardrobe. I love incorporating the jacket into my fall looks.

Oregon Trails

I can’t believe it’s been an entire month since I have gone to Oregon and I am just now posting these photos. I apologize for the delay. Work has been stressful and when you add traveling for work on top of that, well it eventually wears down on you. I can see why blogging can be a full time job.

Indian Summer

It’s really no surprise that we go through Indian summers over in the west coast. While I’m definitely not in the Bay Area in these pictures, San Francisco and the surrounding areas get unseasonably warm after the summer ends. In fact, I am in the outskirts of Vegas and it’s actually a lot cooler here in these photos than it is in San Francisco!

The Pleated Leather Skirt

Labor Day weekend is coming up this weekend and while I am not ready for summer to end, I am definitely ready to shop for some fall clothes. If there’s one item you need in your closet for the fall, it’s the pleated leather skirt. I consider this skirt an absolute staple in your closet. I always end up pulling it out in the colder months. I received the midi length last Christmas, but I recently purchased the mini for this upcoming season.
