Darla and Me

The sun finally made an appearance and it was actually warm enough to be out and about this past weekend. I haven’t been able to take Darla out since it rained and rained for the last few weeks. She has been cooped up at home. We finally caught a break from all the rain so I packed her ball and her dog food…

Red

If you haven’t noticed from all the red and pink everywhere, Valentine’s Day is around the corner. Me and my boyfriend have already “celebrated” the occasion, meaning we just had dinner at our favorite restaurant recently. We are not big on celebrating the holiday. We feel that everyday is a celebration when you are both alive and in good health that you should celebrate each other on a regular basis!

Gingham Style

Can you believe it’s already the middle of May? I wish there was more days in the month and more hours in the day. I have been extremely busy last month with work after coming back home from the Philippines. Add remodeling a home and prepping for my Italy trip, I just needed a day to … Continue Reading

Gloria Ferrer

If there’s one thing that all my loved ones know about me, it’s the fact that I love wine. And it’s sparkling wine in particular. A few weekends ago, I got to visit Gloria Ferrer in Sonoma. I have had flute after flute of their sparkling wines, but this was my first time actually visiting … Continue Reading

Napa used to have a handful of wineries and back in the day they actually offered free tastings. Now a days the wine and hospitality industry have taken the Napa Valley to new heights. Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar

While in the Philippines, I had the unexpected pleasure of touring Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar. It’s a project under construction by owner/architect Jerry Acuzar, whose goal is to buy and relocate the most beautiful and noteworthy Spanish colonial houses from the Philippines onto this picturesque strip of beach in Bataan. Many of these houses … Continue Reading

April Showers

Hooray for rain! Did you see my post from last January in Lake Tahoe where the lake was so low? In case you haven’t noticed California has been in a drought. So you can understand why I’m so excited to bust out these burning red Hunter boots. Pairing bright colored rain boots may seem daunting at … Continue Reading

Bohol, Philippines

My grandfather was born and raised in Bohol. I never met him since he passed away before I was born, but my dad talks about him all the time so making a trip to this island was very important for me. At Bohol, I wore this adorable gingham shirt dress from Old Navy. The lightweight dress was … Continue Reading

Birthday

So today is my birthday and since I will be out of town all weekend for work, I decided that this past weekend would be the opportune time to do a small celebration. The first stop was at The Bud Stop in San Francisco where my boyfriend picked out this lovely assortment of flowers. I love this … Continue Reading

El Nido, Palawan

On my trip to the Philippines, I had the pleasure of visiting the island of Palawan. Conde Nast names El Nido, Palawan number one in both islands and beaches in the entire world. After wandering off to El Nido’s secluded islands, white sand beaches with turquoise waters and their many lagoons, it’s not too hard to understand why … Continue Reading
