Tips For Ordering On Shein

As a part of my budget friendly fashion series, I want to talk about my experience with Shein. And for the record, this is not a sponsored post nor I did receive free product. Shein has approached me a few times to send me free items in exchange for reviews, but in all honesty, the items are rather inexpensive. I felt it wouldn’t hurt to purchase the items myself so I could share my honest and unbiased opinion about Shein and China online shops.

Lavender Fields

I have been dying to visit Matanzas Creek Winery for quite some time. They have an amazing lavender field that is in full bloom in the during the beginning months of summer. The intoxicating scent of lavender just fills the garden and it’s leaves you more calm and relaxed. I loved visiting this place. It is quite a drive, but well worth it…

Red, White and Darla

Fourth of July is around the corner and I saw this festive red and white striped dress from Brooks Brothers. It is absolutely perfect for the upcoming holiday. I have a lot of outfits that are blue or white, so this year I wanted to change it up and wear a little bit of red.

Secret Garden

The other morning I went out for brunch with my fiancé and parents. Afterwards, I wasn’t ready to go home so I decided to share with my fiancé one of my favorite spots in the east bay. I go to this garden to get away from the noise and gather my thoughts for inspiration. It is like my little sanctuary outside of the busy city. I love it here!

Romp Around

I have been busy the past couple of weeks that I haven’t had the opportunity to share this romper I got while I was in Vegas for work. I ran into a friend there and she suggested we go out for the evening. When I’m traveling for business, rarely do I go out because 1) I’m exhausted and 2) I want to be rested and focused for the next day.

White Dresses for Spring

Now that it’s May, I have been officially engaged for entire month. Which is insane! I am still getting used to saying “fiance”. I actually call him my boyfriend at times because saying fiance out loud sounds a bit pretentious to me (I know, I need to get over this). Also wearing a ring on my left hand is strange especially for a person who doesn’t wear a lot of accessories. However, I never get tired of looking at my ring. I’m obsessed with it. No shame in that right?

A Heart for New Adventures

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time in the beautiful coastal town of Mendocino. Since Mendocino is pretty far up north, my boyfriend suggested we should head to the redwoods for the day before we make our way back home. So we made a day out of it!

Mendocino

I was so excited to explore the town of Mendocino. Our first stop was breakfast at the Maccullum House. We enjoyed our breakfast along their amazing front porch. My boyfriend got his traditional eggs and bacon while I decided to switch it up and try out their breakfast burrito. And seriously, if you ever make your way here for brunch, get the breakfast burrito.

Heritage House Resort

I’ve always known how blessed I am to live in California. That’s why my whole life I’ve tried my best to explore everything this glorious state has to offer. I have throughly explored the beaches of Southern California during my college years and more of the central coast recently, but have yet to thoroughly explore the coast of Northern California.

Spring Is Here + 12 Things

Today is the first day of spring! I’m so excited because now I could finally bring out the warm weather tops, shorts and dresses. I got this cute bell sleeve top from Lulu’s earlier this year, but it hasn’t been warm enough to wear it around town…until now!
