Dress: Tommy Hilfiger / Shoes: Christian Louboutin

Guess what? I got all my Christmas shopping done in less than 3 hours and I just finished wrapping all my presents. If you come from a big ass family, you know this is an accomplishment. So this calls for a drink! Cheers!

While I was out shopping, I spotted the perfect dress to wear for the holiday. I fell in love with the festive color and length. This blue and red plaid dress falls right above the knee. It’s modest enough to wear for dinner with your significant other’s family too! It’s such a classic dress to wear for the holidays. I have also attached some beautiful holiday dresses you can wear to the dinner table at the bottom of this post.

I am fortunate to have the best Christmas schedule. Our families are close by so I spend Christmas Eve with my boyfriend’s family and Christmas day with my family. My boyfriend’s family is very traditional so they throw a huge Christmas Eve dinner (which is why I got the dress). My family is more casual and relaxed. We cook a lot of food during the day and spend the entire day grazing around the table. Then we open presents, watch movies and spend quality time with each other.

I also spend time with some friends Christmas evening. There have been a few years where we would go out Christmas evening to grab a drink. Sounds crazy, but it is a lot fun and everyone is great spirits. I absolutely love this time of the year. What are some of your Christmas traditions?
