I have been working a lot these past few months. The end of the year is the busiest time for me since I’m trying to finish all my projects before I can start planning for the new year. I did managed to find some downtime. I went to Berlin for a week and it was good to do some much needed sightseeing before things got busy.
What I love the most about the holidays is how you can bust out the glitter, glam and sequins and no one can really judge. Sparkle is usually reserved for those special occasion (or if you’re the age of 5 and under).
However, the entire month of December, I decided to shine.
This ensemble I wore for Christmas can really only be worn for a “California” winter. I started off with this marled grey and gold sequined baseball sweater and paired it with a leather, accordion pleated mini skirt. I also threw on an olive vest just to make the outfit appear more “winter weather” appropriate. Although, let’s face it, vest don’t do very much to keep you warm.
As much as the holidays were hectic, I enjoyed spending time with my most loved ones. I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday! See you all in the new year!
