I was so excited to explore the town of Mendocino. Our first stop was breakfast at the Maccullum House. We enjoyed our breakfast along their amazing front porch. My boyfriend got his traditional eggs and bacon while I decided to switch it up and try out their breakfast burrito. And seriously, if you ever make your way here for brunch, get the breakfast burrito. It was probably the winner on their entire menu!
We strolled around this quaint little town. Mendocino exudes charm around every single corner. I did expect a lot of rain during our weekend, however we were blessed with nothing but sunshine. I didn’t pack a lot of shoes since I do plan my outfits ahead of time (and I tend to pack light). But even while we were short of rain, these Hunters were surprisingly comfortable and did the job!
Aren’t these waters beautiful? I could seriously spend an entire day taking in these views. Mendocino is such a charming town and it was wonderful to explore this part of Northern California. We loved it so much that we even talked about possibly retiring here one day. It’s kind of a toss up between Carmel and Mendocino. I have a lot of time to sit on that thought!
