As much as I love bold and beautiful dresses, when it comes to accessories, I tend to gravitate towards something simple and delicate. Bulky jewelry feels, well, bulky to me. Why wear it when a minimalist design will make the same impression? Drew & Co is a brand that has pieces which exemplify the minimalist look I am going for.
One of the pieces I was immediately drawn to is their gold plated bracelet that features this stunning set of blue stones. Anna, creator of Drew & Co, creates every piece by hand and with care. The designs are simple, yet timeless and elegant. They can be worn for any occasion. While I’m out on a date or hanging out with my friends, maybe at a work meeting, the pieces work well with anything I am wearing. Sometimes you just need a little touch of sparkle to add to any outfit.
With summer coming to it’s end, I have been spending more time at wine country than the beach. I’m not surprised since I absolutely love wine. I have doubled my efforts by exploring new wineries. Lately, I have been making my rounds in Sonoma. There are so many wineries, it would probably take a life time to visit them all! A challenge I willingly accept.
Last weekend, I went to the one of the oldest family owned wineries in Sonoma, Gundlach Bundschu (pronounced gun-lock-bun-shoe). The tasting room is just as amazing as the grounds, but with any good winery it’s the wine that is the star. I loved their cabernet sauvignon variety. I bought a bottle to bring home! They grow their grapes on site, so you can be sure that all their wines come from the heart of wine country.
I have one more trip until the summer comes close to an end and then it’s harvest season in Napa. I cannot wait to share my adventures with you for that. Until next time!
