If you have been following me on Instagram, you probably have noticed I have been spending some time in Hawaii. Kauai is my fiance’s favorite island. This was my second time visiting Kauai so I was already pretty familiar with most of its amazing towns. One of my favorite areas in Kauai is Princeville, right on the north side of the island. Last time we stayed at a vacation rental, but for this trip I wanted to have a resort experience and I was fortunate to team up with The Westin Princeville for the duration of my stay.
We spent a wonderful week over at one of Westin’s best oceanview villas. It was such a treat to wake up each morning with a view of the Pacific Ocean. Even after one stormy night of lightning and thunder we awoke to the most amazing rainbow that we will remember forever. It was magical. After getting ready to start our day, we would head down the Nanea Restaurant for a delicious breakfast buffet with food that serves for all diets. There is an amazing koi pond at the end of the patio, which along with the view of the ocean provides for a very relaxing setting. Just be careful of the birds, while they are colorful and fun to look at, they will snatch your delicious breakfast crepes before you know it.
I spent a lot of evenings out on the lanai taking evening photos of the starry sky. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Westin. It has a little bit of something for the couple looking to get away while also being very family friendly. The Westin Princeville is a beautiful resort to serve as a home base and best of all the staff made us feel this little slice of heaven was our second home.
Thanks to The Westin Princeville for being amazing hosts!
