Can you believe it’s finally November? It’s the final two months of the year and things have definitely turned up a notch. It’s only going to get hectic as the time gets closer towards the end of the year. Am I ready? Not really, but I’ll manage.
I decided to start sharing more workwear on this blog. You may have remembered my post on the pleated leather skirt and I received so much compliments on one of my more conservative looks, that I felt it would be good to share more.
While it may appear as if I’m always dressed up, in reality I’m actually not. In all honesty, I’m either wearing conservative clothes for work or I’m wearing gym clothes and I may or may not be going to the gym (yes, I’m one of those people). I change a few times a day and workwear and gym clothes are my constant. What you see on my blog is what I wear outside of work.
Well now that we have gotten that straight, lets talk about this dress I’m wearing. Since I got the dress, women have literally been stopping me on the street to ask where did I got it. It has been one of my favorite dresses to wear lately. It’s one of those pieces that appears to be the same navy dress you see on the hanger, but the second you try it on you transform to the professional that you truly are. It’s definitely head turner and it gives you the boost of confidence for whatever you have coming for you!
I love the small dotted detail all over the dress. And let’s not forget the pleated drop hemmed skirt which will immediately make you appear taller than you really are. I’m only 5’5″ and when you wear this dress you’re now a leggy supermodel (kidding). You can wear it with black knee high boots or flats, but I wore it with classic pumps.
